Design and modelling of photovoltaic power stations using PV*SOL software
As part of the ‘Civil Society Energy 2022’ project, the team at the “Synergy” NGO developed a certified online course entitled ‘Design and Modelling of Photovoltaic Power Stations Using PV*SOL Software’, which was attended by over 100 participants throughout 2022.
The aim of this course is to help you develop socially responsible and energy-efficient solutions for the design of energy infrastructure to provide heating and electricity. Through this course, you will learn about international case studies on the use of renewable energy sources in the design of energy supply infrastructure.
During the course, you will learn about the applications and benefits of professional software for designing solar systems and will be able to develop your own project using PVSOLPremium. The main focus of the course is on developing systems for self-consumption, and one of its key benefits is an overview of the legislative and regulatory framework and financial models of the renewable energy market.
In addition, the course will familiarise you with the technical aspects of implementing photovoltaic power station projects. This will help you formulate your own operational recommendations to ensure maximum energy efficiency in solar energy projects. A detailed analysis of the potential of renewable energy sources in various regions of Ukraine will help you choose the optimal renewable energy technology for your location. Furthermore, you will gain knowledge on the selection and operation of energy storage systems for the electrification of off-grid facilities.
Our online course took first place in the ‘Best Project for Vocational Training and Retraining’ category in the competition organised annually by the Ukrainian Association for Adult Education with the support of DVV International Ukraine.
We invite you to find out more here and join the online course “Design and modelling of photovoltaic power stations using PV*SOL software”.
